Naruto (ナルト, Naruto?) es un manga creado por Masashi Kishimoto sobre un ninja adolescente hiperactivo llamado Naruto Uzumaki, rechazado por tener el demonio del "zorro de nueve colas" en su interior, que busca constantemente llamar la atención de los demás. Para ello, se ha fijado el objetivo de llegar a ser el Hokage (líder) de su aldea.
La primera publicación del manga de Naruto fue por Shueisha en 1999 en el número 43 de la revista Shōnen Jump de Japón. Después, VIZ Media trasladó la versión a la Shōnen Jump Americana.
Actualmente, el manga está siendo publicado en Japón por la editorial Shūeisha en la revista semanal Shōnen Jump, donde al momento han sido lanzados 39 volúmenes. En España, es Glénat la editorial que lo publica. En México, es la editorial "Mundo Vid" o Editorial Vid quien los distribuye y publica. El éxito del manga hizo que su trama fuera adaptada a una serie de anime originalmente transmitida por TV Tokyo y traducida a diferentes idiomas por cientos de fansub alrededor del mundo. Se comenzó a emitir en España a partir del 23 de septiembre de 2006 a través de Jetix. En América Latina, se empezó a transmitir desde enero de 2007 a través de Cartoon Network, solo los primeros 52 episodios.
